Crondall School Association
The Crondall School Association
Crondall School Association (CSA) is a committee of parents and friends of the school which works together to raise extra funds for the school by organising a range of events and fund raising activities. The committee meets once a month to discuss what future events might take place and what the money raised may be spent on. Please feel free to come along and join us, as the more the merrier and fresh ideas are always great to have. The CSA plays an important part in school life providing extra money which directly benefits the children and their learning. It also brings the whole school together as a community, focussed on the children and their time at school. The CSA organises events such as Summer and Christmas fairs, quiz and race nights for the parents and discos for the children. The committee also provides refreshments at important school events like Sports’ Day and pupils’ work viewing afternoons and the very successful and well attended Mums’ and Dads’ mornings.
How to get involved?
Whatever time you can give would be very much appreciated. This could be joining the main committee which involves attending a meeting once a month, helping at individual events or doing jobs that can be done at home to help prepare for some of our events like wrapping gifts for the Christmas fair.
We have been really pleased to support the school in its aim to have exciting opportunities to learn both in and outside of lessons. Recently, we have raised over £17,500 towards our fantastic new court yard, so the children have been enjoying working outside! We have helped by providing coaches to take pupils to the pantomime at Christmas which takes everybody on a great day out.
If you would like to join the CSA, have any ideas of new events we could run or would just like to volunteer to help every now and again it would be great to hear from you. Please contact our Chair of the CSA, Lois Bartley on firstname.lastname@example.org
