Crondall Primary School

Message from the Governors.

Welcome to the Crondall Primary School website link to the Governors page.

The Crondall Primary School Governing Body consists of Parent, Community, Local Authority and Staff Governors as listed. We are proud to support Crondall Primary School by working closely together as a Governing Body and having close relationships with staff, parents and stakeholders in the community. We strive to continually improve every aspect of the school and achieve outstanding results.
Crondall is fortunate in having a Governing Body that is actively involved in the school. It has statutory responsibilities which include overseeing staff selection and staffing policy, allocation of the budget, maintenance and development of the buildings and school grounds and ensuring the school’s curriculum and Government and LEA policies are effectively implemented. Day to day responsibilities and management of the school are delegated to the Headteacher.
Governors hold a full meeting each term and also hold committee meetings at least termly. There are two committees — Resources and Full Governors meetings. The minutes of Governor meetings are ‘open’ documents and can be read at any time during school hours at the school office.
The Governors represent the parents, the school community and the community at large. Should you wish to express a concern, deal with an issue or want information on an aspect of the school your first port of call should be the school office, but of course individual Governors can be readily contacted.

Please see our governors’ pen portraits which give a little more detail about the individuals who form our governing body.
